No Circuit LLC ("No Circuit," "we," "us," or "our") operates the No Circuit marketplace (the "Platform"), connecting independent filmmakers with movie theaters for theatrical screenings. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
By using No Circuit, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account
- Profile information: For filmmakers: film titles, synopses, posters, stills, trailers, festival laurels, and press materials. For theaters: venue name, address, seating capacity, technical specifications, and programming focus
- Payment information: When you connect your Stripe account, Stripe collects your banking and identity verification information directly. We receive limited information from Stripe (such as the last four digits of your bank account and account status) but do not store your full payment credentials
- Communications: Messages you send through our platform to other users, and correspondence with our support team
- Transaction information: Deal terms, screening dates, ticket prices, and revenue splits you agree to with other users
- Uploaded content: Screeners, promotional materials, and other files you upload to the Platform
- Ticket purchase information: If you purchase tickets to a screening, we collect your name, email address, and ticket details. Payment information (such as credit card numbers) is collected and processed directly by Stripe — we do not store your payment credentials
Information Collected Automatically
We do not use any client-side analytics or tracking tools. However, our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically collect standard server logs, which may include:
- Server log data: Pages visited, IP address, access times, referring URLs, browser type, and operating system — collected by our hosting providers (Vercel, Supabase) as part of normal server operations
- Cookies: Essential cookies for authentication and session management only (see Section 9)
Information from Third Parties
- Stripe: Payment processing status, payout confirmations, and account health indicators
- Authentication providers: If you sign in with a third-party service, we receive your name and email from that provider
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate the marketplace: Enable filmmakers and theaters to discover each other, negotiate deals, and complete transactions
- Process payments: Facilitate ticket sales, calculate revenue splits, and transfer funds to your connected Stripe account
- Send transactional communications: Deal proposals, confirmations, ticket receipts, payout notifications, and screening reminders
- Provide customer support: Respond to your inquiries and resolve issues
- Improve our services: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features and user experience
- Ensure security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
- Comply with legal obligations: Meet tax reporting requirements, respond to legal process, and enforce our terms
3. How We Share Your Information
With Other Platform Users
The Platform is designed to connect filmmakers and theaters. When you use No Circuit:
- Public profiles: Your film or theater profile (name, description, images, location) is visible to other users browsing the marketplace

- Completed deals: When a deal is accepted, both parties receive each other's contact information necessary to coordinate the screening
- Reviews: After screenings, filmmakers may post reviews of theaters that are publicly visible
- Screener access: Theaters can view screeners uploaded by filmmakers for evaluation purposes
